Please, look at the blackboard where the quotation   is written “Life is short, art is long”
It was told by Hippocrates. I think these words can be the motto of our lesson. Do you agree with Hippocrates? What do you think about this quotation? How do you understand these words? What is art?
Art is the study or creation of beautiful things.
What works of art can you name?
They are paintings, pieces of music, architecture, films, ballets, poems.
What things do generally come under the heading of “The arts.”
